I found the screen too bright on the q for reading at night.
I didn't like how candlelite also turned off kb backlight.

here's a little trick I just came up with.
Some time back I bought a roll of that window tint you can buy from Home Depot. I had some left over. so I cut a couple squares about screen size.
It stays on great because of static.
I keep them by my bed for night time reading.
If one ain't enough, use 2.

The screens on my Omnia 7 and Nokia 920 are too bright to use at night as GPS, even on the forced "low" manual setting.

Any word on MS addressing this? It's a real pain in the retinas.
