    My L920 has no problem getting into the "disk mode"(display an icon like a usb drive like other HD) under Windows 7. But I just can't figure out how to do this on my Mac. Is using the "windows phone"client the only way to transfer data through wire on mac os?

    OSX doesn't implement MTP which is needed for displaying the phone like a disk. MTP has been a USB standard for years but Apple aren't bothered it seems.
