Just plugged the phone into the PC and a new update message has arrived, I thought i was on all the latest updates...

Just says "LG Update for Windows Phone"

OK update done OS version stays the same.

Firmware & Radio now at 1.0.10.10, not sure about the others (cant remember)

Just checked my device and I still have what I presume to be the original firmware and radio (1.0.2.10)

Let's see if my carrier has interest in pushing this update over here.

I also just got the Update this Morning. I am on Telus in Ontario.

From what I read it updates battery life and other performance updates to Hardware\Firmware. Maybe getting ready for Mango not sure. Not saying I expect Mango any day now either. :)

Uh oh, hoping its a coincidental glitch - after updating my optimus 7 yesterday and a full night of charging my phone ran excessively hot all day and drained a full battery in 6 hours of idling. Fingers crossed a reset and a charge sorts it out

Got it this morning, everything went smoothly but so far I the only thing I seem to notice is that ringtones are a bit louder. Did anyone notice anything similar? I usually had a hard time hearing sms ringtones when I had the phone in my pocket but since the update I heard them all even in loud enviroments.

i have an LG E900h from PERSONAL company and i still haven't the update on my zune
the fun fact is that a friend of mine have the same phone bought on the same company the same day as mine, he already updated his phone but im still waiting for my update.
one more thing, i did a total format of my phone a few weeks ago using the info on this post [FIRMWARE]LG Optimus 7 E900 Original ROM's[DOWNLOAD] - xda-developers using the corresponding firmware version PERSONAL ARGENTINA BIN_LG-E900hAT-00-V10a-722-34-JAN-28-2011+1
this maybe the reason for the update is still skipping me ????
if anyone have any more info on why the update is being doing on some phones and others don't please share it

Don't know if anyone noticed, but after the update, my keyboard/typing sound sounds different...almost sounds slower.

I'm with Telus if it makes a difference.

Since installing the update I've found that all sounds are louder (i.e. LG have increased the maximum speaker volume) which is great. However, I'm also now finding that sometimes when I swipe the screen rapidly the phone shuts down instantly. I've reported it to LG. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?
