Hi all,
Just got my Lumia 820 the other day and so far I'm enjoying it. Coming from an iPhone4 so going to take some adjusting but already loving the snappy ness of the OS.
Previous Nokia was a 5800 which i loved so the Lumia was my first choice WPhone.
Hind sight is a wonderful thing of course but had I realised that there was not apps/data to SD I would probably have picked up the 920 as my 8gb main memeory is dissapearing whilst my 32gb SD sits largely empty! Was a little surprised as my old 5800 had no problems with storing maps etc on SD, presume this is an OS issue and hopefully will be addressed in some way.
Anyway thought I'd say hi and look forward to what Microsoft have to bring.

Tbh i prefer the look and feel of the 820 and the memory card expansion was a bigger draw as i have a massive music library when i can be bothered to sort it!
Just feel they (Microsoft and Nokia) are missing a trick not utilising the SD.
The 822 sounds great but its not available afaik in the U.K.
Regardless, i like the phone and think the OS has great potential whereas i feel iOS has stagnated.

Ah, another British person! Welcome aboard mate! I've got the Lumia 920 myself, however was considering a Lumia 820. I chose against it though for the exact reason you posted here about the microSD card sitting largely empty while the 8GB internal gets filled like mad. And yes, you're right, the 822 isn't available in the UK. It is a Verizon Wireless exclusive (Verizon are a US carrier, should you not be already aware of this).

To br fair I'm possibly moaning about something that will likely not end up affecting me as even with the iphone i wasn't the biggest app user, more interested in my media, however i just see it as an oversight for the removable memory phones to not be able to make use what's there, to the point that they are not suitable for the market, all imo of course.
