1 week ago I upgraded from an iPhone 4s (white 16GB). I used to be an apple guy (phone wise) had one from the very beginning, well the 4s I had was replaced 7 times by apple in a 10 month period, the last one was replaced before Thanksgiving and after having issues all of January with it I finally called AT&T and begged for an early upgrade and bought the Lumia 920 and have been happy to own a smartphone again!
They only things I miss are being able to see when someone has read a text message and vice versa, my wife works in a call center so I like to see when she has read the message. Not a deal breaker by any means. Also miss having a PDF reader that works.
Glad to be rid of iTunes for the most part (still have an ipad mini)

PDF viewer from Microsoft been updated and is now fully usable. Share, delete, etc.

I do not know anything that will let you know someone has "read" your sent SMS or mms.
Only thing close is sms/mms delivery confirmation and mms acknowledgement.

Welcome to WPCentral! The messaging app on WP doesn't support all the features that imessage does, but kik messenger is something you might want to look into.
