Hey all, I was having some serious issues with my phone and decided to do a hard reset.

This solved the problem but now the phone won't update. It is still running version 7.10 (7720) but the zune software says "Your phone is up to date. Current phone software version: 7.10 (7720)."

Any ideas on how to get the phone to update?

If you are on Verizon in the US, then 7720 is the most update software :>-(

Dig down in this forum, there is a walkthrough to install the 7740 and then the 8107 updates. Worked great, takes about 10-20 minutes including a backup once you have everything downloaded (only 10 megs or so to download).
