Just got my Trophy today - seems that 3rd part live tiles (Flixster, Weather Channel, Weather Bug) simply do not work even after enabling live tiles in the app settings.

Does anyone know what the problem might be or is this a known issue on WP7 (which would be ridiculous considering it's one of WP7's main features).

Note that Messaging, email, zune, and other original WP7 live tiles work fine.

I doubt you have Live Tile constipation yet but I guess it is possible (see: Hey Microsoft, what’s up with those Live Tiles?). Are you positive those are your sole 3rd party apps that have live tiles?

Yep, they're my only 3rd party live tiles - toggled with the app settings and still no live tiles.

Possibly related, the few working Tiles I have remaining seem frozen on my LG atm too, weird.

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Not having working live tiles is a total dealbreaker for me.

I have had problems with both the weather apps mentioned. I heard somewhere that one of those weather apps totally messed up live tiles. I don't remember which one. I have just been using the HTC one, works well enough for me.

I had some other random problems with both the weather apps you list on both my hd7 and focus as well. I suspect poor app testing? They are free apps afterall.
