Anyone get the update officially from AT&T yet? Or are we going to have to do everything manually like what XDA-Developers users do?
I heard that is was supposed to be released this week, and well it's thursday here and nothing so far. Bummed a bit because everyone that manually updated said that it was a big improvement in speed and response. - 01-12-2012, 03:46 PM #2
No new update here either on my unlocked European Titan BucDan, although it's way in front firmware wise already compared to the AT&T one.

What should the OS version be? Currently I have 7.10.7720.68

I don't think the Tango update is something that applies to all handsets though. If rumors are to believed, it's a version of the OS meant for budget devices.

Cuz i got a reply from HTC email support about the 8107 update... I'm not sure if he was talking about the International version even thought i mentioned AT&T a couple times, but stated the update should be available by now. I replied and asked for an RUU of some kind...

Any news from anyone?

I sent a Twitter message to ATT Support and, of course, got the 'We don't have a date yet, but will let you know...' typical canned response to a 'where's my phones update' request. As suspected. The keyboard issue is now really starting to bug me more than before.

I updated my arrive using the manual method quite a while ago. I switched to a Titan Saturday and the first thing I did was update it to 8107 the same way. Both phones work fine with the manual update. My keyboard doesn't disappear, It used to on my Arrive before the update. I didn't give the Titan a chance before I updated it.
