My 8X stopped receiving text messages, messenger messages come trough. Went to att sim chip put into iPhone and all texts came through. ATT replaced my chip and phone, worked until I logged into my Live account. Did a hard reset and still no texts, ATT at a loss, can anyone help?

Did you disable iMessage on your iPhone? Coming from using iPod/iPhone, texts are still being received by the old devices.

Huh? I don't have an iPhone. That was at the AT&T store to test the SIM chip. Apparently I can get texts from AT&T I got their survey for the service yesterday, but still cannot get texts from anyone else.

I had same issue on verizon, apparently very common issue, I had to call tier 2 support at verizon and they had it fixed in a jiffy.

ATT is looking at it, I should hear back in a few days.

Well ATT Called and said they can't find any issues and it might be a software problem. So Good Bye WP it's been a great run. ATT Let me do an exchange, My New Samsung Galaxy S III should be here in 2 days.
