hi, i have the htc windows x phone and i have put music on it ok but i dont no how to convert one of the songs i like to a ringtone, any ideas? thank you

If you connect your phone to a PC via USB you can drag and drop your music files to the Ringtones folder on the phone. Then go to Settings > Ringtones & Sounds, tap on ringtone and scroll up to the "Custom" section to select your personal ringtone.

with the 8X, connect to your PC, bring up Windows Explorer, see your device folder, click on there, there will be a folder for Ringtones, put music files for ring tones in there....

I use Audacity on my PC to trim segments of songs to around 10 seconds to use as ringtones.
