Wow! They released Nokia Drive for all WP8 devices. Not just for Nokia Lumias now. The best bit is it full screen 720p - no black bars. Can we all just have a celebratory party right now?! Not only is this a super win for the platform, this is also indeed a great win for the HTC 8X too -- it's one of the bigger reasons people often chose the 920 over our phone and now the playing field is a little bit more level -- in this regard.

Although I've got a Lumia device, I'm glad this Nokia app has come to the 8x. I was starting to doubt it would. It definitely is good for the platform.

Anyone one else have an issue where the directional voice is staticky/cuts out over bluetooth? Using the UK English female voice with street name and a Kia Uvo system. Bluetooth normally works fine.

Downloaded it and gave it try on the drive in this morning. Wow. The best mobile phone satnav i've used that didn't cost over £50. Accuracy was good, almost pinpoint for most of the journey, and the directions were spot on. My only quibble would be to add a favourites manager (ie. I can't add my home, i can only set my home location as a favourite which doesn't get the right address).

Hi! Just search your address and then add it as your favorite. Worked for me.
