    My screen used to light up when I received text messages and this is important because when I'm at work I have my phone on silent and need to know when I get text messages without constantly checking it. This is the second phone to do this so i guess it's some sort of software problem, but it was working fine for the last week or so. Anyone else have this problem?

    I'm having the same issues, and my phone is less than a week old. Anyone have an answer on how to fix this? I'm getting nowhere with MS.

    I found out that my case was blocking the sensor. The sensor is located above the earpiece.
