hey guys! just wanted to make a thread where everyone can post their battery lives and get an average life this phone gives.

mines weird because it was giving me two days but now has dropped to twenty without changing anything.

also, is anyone on verizon and wondering if a firmware update is coming?

I get anywhere from 18- 24 hours. It depends how much I use it. Games tend to suck the life out of it, and I'm not really a heavy user.

I use sms pretty heavily, and always have wifi on, so I only get about 8hrs :( I'll get 12-14 if I don't use my phone much at all. Battery life really really stinks. Worse than I'd hoped. What happens in 2yrs when the battery gets worn in?? I can't have it plugged in all the time!

I discharged my phone to zero and went from 20 hours to two days! :-o

Agree...draining the battery helps big time. I have 60 to 70 percent left by the end of the night with light use... i only turn on data or wifi when I use the phone for those purposes. I don't mind an extra step. If I need to check email I turn on data and then check it.
