2nd 8x Replaced

First 8x replaced due to a complete failure (couldn't turn it on), now Three UK are replacing to constant screen flickering.

Sounds like my luck with Samsung Android devices.

My third 8x is now with me. Screen flickering is gone, let's see how long this one lasts.

Should have bought Lumia 920

I had my first one replaced about 3-4 days after I got it due to a bad radio. I got it shortly after launch. The second one has been rock solid.

Why? What's wrong with the 8x? Both manufacturers rushed to market and have quirks. Some people prefer the form factor on the 8x, and the hardware is just as good.

And yes, I've used both. I still have my L900, but the 8x was just so much better to use than the 920 for me.
