Yikes, I spoke highly of this phone just yesterday and now it is giving me reboots...it rebooted right in the middle of a very important call(I was on hold).
Thankfully the rep called me back....and i now have to make a choice in regards to what phone I am going to get.
I took a lot of cool pics and i got a lot of attention with this phone but I am curious to know are the reboots specific to ALL 8Xs in general or just the verizon model?
And any news on when VZW/HTC/Microsoft are pushing the portico update?
The reboots are about the only issue I presently have with my 8x and it looks to be getting worse.
Also does it matter if you are in a low signal area? in this hotel room, i get 1-2 bars of Service(no lte). Does that cause the reboots? - 01-01-2013, 01:21 PM

I have the Verizon HTC 8x (red) and have not had a reboot yet.

I've had a blue Verizon 8X since Christmas Eve with no reboots. My house is in a location with pretty bad reception. It can switch from 1x, 3G and LTE between my kitchen and living room. But I'm always on WiFi at home so that might make a difference.
