    Hi, since I bought the htc 8x, my phone has randomly shut off on me twice while listening to music. The problem only seems to occur when im listening to music. being that I just forked over $200 for this phone, I was wondering if this was a software or hardware issue. Should I exchange the phone at att? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Yes I noticed it yesterday when using the rdio app It would play 2 or 3 tracks then stop playing. At first I thought it was due to using a bluetooth headset but it isn't. I haven't had time yet to see if I can work out why its happening though.

    I'd recommend a hard reset/wipe or just replacing it.

    This happens pre-Portico update. Check for any software updates in the settings menu.
