    Does anyone else experience the screen dimming when a key is pressed. When I'm typing a message or logging in to something, my screen dims on each key press and then gets bright again after I lift my finger.

    This isn't the phone's fault it seems as this is my 2nd 8x.

    Mine does the same thing. I think that there is a thread concerning this with more people having the same issue.

    Are you on automatic brightness? If yes try medium. I do not have that issue.
