    So I just go the HTC 8X. I had the Nokia 710 before. I was trying to add my gmail account but it won't let me. I did not have problems doing so on the 710.
    On the HTC it keeps telling me "attention required." It seems like it is telling me the password I entered is wrong, but I entered it a few time slowly making sure it is the right one.

    I think I got it, I turned on 2-step verification a while ago, so I needed to add the device through google, get a special password, and enter it on the phone. now it seems to work
