    Just picked up an 8x yesterday, coming from years of Android. So far I like it...except I noticed one thing right away.

    The camera button has real sharp edges that snag on pants pocket or fingers. The volume rocker either doesn't stick out as far or has slightly rounded shoulders. The power button also doesn't seem to stick out or snag.

    Is mine typical? Or did I get a dud?

    I never had that issue. Are the sharp edges viewable?

    Mine is just as smooth as the volume and power buttons.

    Well...it turns out I did have a defective phone. The camera button did, in fact, stick out further than any others on the floor, both Verizon and AT&T models in various colors.

    I have a new one that is much better!
