So, I got my 8x from Verizon the first day.
I just noticed that my top-left corner is worn (shiny plastic is exposed).
I haven't dropped it, either.
It just sits in my front pocket with my wallet.
I was under the impression that it was a one-piece polycarbonate body, like the lumias.
I've had many phones get scuffed up, but always from dropping.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Might I be able to get it replaced?

thre is already a thread with subject "Phone getting dirty". i believe this is a known issue

There are many other threads out there about the phone scuffing or getting dirty, especially on the corners. If you're really concerned with how it looks I'd either recommend getting a case or just exchanging it for a new one and hoping it's not as bad.

I have a blue 8X and I don't have any scuffing or discoloration from it being in my pocket all day.

As mentioned, I got this the first day (about a month ago, now).
Verizon wouldn't exchange it, would they?

You usually have 14 days to return the phone no questions asked, however the devices are still covered by the manufacturer's warranty for a year so if there is a defect with the phone (ie nothing you cause such as dropped, water, etc) they should still replace it for you.

I went to the Verizon store and they will replace it with a refurb.
How many returns can they have for a month-old phone?
