I got my HTC 8X 2 weeks ago and whenever I plugged in earphones or headphones, there would always be a chime that alerted me of the Beats audio. But now, I don't hear that chime at all. Is this a common issues, or is it just my phone?

Nope, it's on both. It also rattles, like there might be something inside that came off. Could that be it?

Its considered " all other notifications" so if you turned the sound off on those then it wont chime

The rattle is in my phone as well. I have also heard from a few people they have the rattle. I think it has something to do with the camera. When I exit camera, I can hear a small click.

A rattle in phones usually comes from the camera, and it is the autofocus element of the lens I believe. I have the same thing on mine, and it has happened on every phone I've had in recent memory. iPhones etc.
