Is the HTC app supposed to do anything to the lock screen? It doesn't look any different when selected than using a picture, what does the HTC lock screen do? Does it work for anyone?

There don't seem to be many lock screen apps, I wish ESPN or USA were available for HTC

The HTC lock screen has never worked on my phone. Selecting it did nothing at all.

for it to work you have to "open" the HTC app after you select it for a wallpaper. You will see the "open app" buttin under the Background chooser field. Click on that.

Me too! I had battery issues and read some threads here. Then decided to block or uninstall some apps...when HTC clock was one of them that was eating my battery.
