    I can't seem to find this online, all I get with Google long reviews, snippets of comments, and pre-release rumors from months ago. If it doesn't, what other high end WP8 devices do? I know the Lumia 920 does not.

    Sadly no it doesn't. It's limited to 16GB internal memory.

    None of the current "high end" WP8 phones have an SD card slot. Though I believe the Samsung ATIV-S is supposed to have one. That would probably be the first high-end WP8 phone with that feature. The ATIV-S is supposed to be coming out during November the last I heard, so you might try to hang in there a few more weeks.

    Still waiting on someone to disect an 8x to let us know if there is a hidden internal SD card slot like on prior HTC phones.

    No, it doesn't. It also doesn't have a parallel port, cassette drive interface, VME bus slot, floppy drive port, or other obsolete local storage media interfaces. ;)
