I have had my 8x for 2 days now and everything from activation, adding my contacts (from Verizon backup) and using the phone and messaging, email etc has worked perfectly and it had 50% battery remaining last night when I plugged it in at 9pm. wi-fi on all the time. nfc off. Came from a Galaxy s3 and wanted something less complicated. So far the 8x has been great. Only thing I would change is the lock - un lock button. I would like to be able to unlock it with the Windows or back button.
