Anyone else see this for their network? I am on T-Mobile, but my previous phone (Omnia 7) switched to showing EE a while ago, but my 8X only ever shows "Local Network Operator", even though the HTC connection setup app has settings for EE.

I did ask TMobile about it and they suggested it was a device firmware update that was required, which seems pretty odd as my Omnia changed overnight.

Yeah I get that alot on my 8x on O2 - never bothered me though as it would change to O2-UK whenever i went to make a call - To be honest I always thought it said Local Network Open.

I'm getting similar and I'm on Orange. Sometimes it says EE other times it says Local Network Operator. I think it is because EE uses both Orange and T-mobiles networks, instead of displaying Orange or T-mobile it will go with Local Network Operator instead.
