I just picked up one of those T-Mobile USA 8Xs. Surprisingly, I think the camera settings differ from other carriers or unbranded devices. For example, I don't have a "Focus Range" setting. Damn, I got this device partly because of its hyped camera! I am taking a lot of close-ups but without being able to set the camera into close-up mode, I can't really do that since the auto focus doesn't let me go close enough!

Here are the photo settings options that are available to me on the T-Mobile USA version:

- Effects
- Resolution
- Exposure
- Contrast
- Saturation
- Sharpness
- ISO
- Face Detection

Could anybody with a non-T-Mobile USA 8X compare those settings? (Preferrable someone with an unlocked / unbranded European version.)
