I guess it's a good sign that I can't find many posts about issues with the HTC 8x. The phone is marvelous, but I am running into a few issues with it already. I was the first person to buy the phone from the store (this is at 3 pm... lol). My phone doesn't seem to be picking up some data. Text-messages and e-mails are not coming or going. Toast notifications do not seem to be working. All of this was working earlier, so I'm not really sure what happened.. any ideas?

You phone might need the internet APN and MMS APN settings. Ask your carrier, these can be setup under "Mobile Network".

Make sure u set yourself as available in messaging. I had that issue and that fixed me right up.
