just picked this phone up, does anyone know whether or not the removed lock screen music player support?

You can still pause/ff/prev on the lock screen, if that's what you're asking.

For some reason Mine arent working but i do see the album artwork on the lock screen. Is it incompatible with another app using the lockscreen?

It shouldn't be, other apps can't override the display of the audio controls for the OS. If you play music, turn off screen and back on, you're not getting any controls?

nope only the controls that come down with the volume rocker menu
