Wow. O2 wants £57 for 750mb of data. 3G too.
They're going to make EE look cheap.Thanked by: - 11-02-2012, 03:51 PM #4
If you can afford it - better to buy it outright and get on a decent SIM only.

If I was still in the UK, I'd pick up an 8X, unlocked, and go on a 3 SIM.

Would a Virgin sim work on a EE locked device then?
I have a 3uk sim that's going in my 820 :D - 11-02-2012, 06:51 PM #9

Yeah that has to be the most disgusting price I've seen, after that pre-paid card that offered 2MB of data for 50 dollars. (not that wasn't a typo, 2MB not 2GB, not 200MB but 2MB).

ROFL, those are AT&T European roaming rates, Winter! :)

Oooh :O. Well I'm glad such plan doesn't exist then XD. I wish someone did an unboxing of the green and red ones.

I'd seriously wait for Three. They're set to stock both the 8X and 8S. I'm only paying £25/month for unlimited data. We've reached out to the carrier for availability information, waiting to hear back.

Look at the bottom one, unlimited texts, calls and 750mb of data for £57. For that price I'd want much more than 750mb.
However it gets better, if you go to that link posted above and select high data you then see the on and on tariffs which give a max of 1Gb - 2GB. Much, much better :)
EE for £56 gives unlimited calls, texts and 8gb of data
I've been with O2 for years and have been happy with them but I'd love them to raise data limits. That said I also have a 3uk sim with AYCE data :)
I don't use huge amounts of data but I want to not have to worry about going over my limits and having to fork out more for extra data.
