I am so close to buying an 8S it hurts, but no one has them on display to play with, unlike the 8X, Lumia 820 and 920. At least not in Brighton.

it's a weird question, but does anyone have one, and can they tell me:

1) is the vibration on a soft button key press subtle? I like how soft it is on the lumia 800/820. But the HTC 7 Trophy I have rattles like a bag of ball bearings being throwndown a flight of stairs.

2) can the soft button vibrations be turned off.

1) Pretty subtle, not too bad, certainly not much more disruptive than on the 920, the unibody construction helps, that phone is so tightly put together there isn't anything to rattle
2) No, not AFAIK
