If you could not use windows phone and had to choose between IOS or Android (Only these two) which one would you choose, and why?

i would go back to ios for the simple fact that apps feel more dedicated to the os, updates across the board not waiting/guessing months, and hopfulley ives brings fresh blood to the os.

Android. It looks better, in my opinion. And the displays are bigger.

Android because I had an Evo and am used to the OS.

Wow, good question, probably IOS because everyone else in my family has one (not a good reason).

I've contemplated this before because sprint doesn't have any wp8 devices, ios is way more usable and compatible with everything but I do like the big screens and customization of android. I guess I'd get a nexus everyone has iPhones there lame now.

I would go Android because I cannot afford iOS. Even Windows Phone is starting to feel too "premium" for me. Hahaha...

IOS no doubt

I couldn't use either... When I didn't have a kid and job I may have said android though I preferred my HD2. As it stands, I'd almost rather go back to a dumb phone just because those UIs are almost upsettingly ugly.

iOS, because it is very stable system. But if WP had not come along I would still be using Blackberry.

I can't use my WP, so I'm using iOS. If WP ever gets mVPN, then I'll switch back to my WP.

IOS. Because it works.

Kin.
But if I had to choose, Android. Cause I really don't want the iPhone hardware.Try out my first Windows 8 app, ModernCalc! It's free and I would love to hear your feedback!

Well Androids are glitchy messes and the apps normally suck, so that's out of the picture.
iPhones are fragile, small, and have the most boring, awful GUI ever. So I don't want to go that way either.
My wife is going BlackBerry Q10 in July so I'll probably go Z10 unless there's some insane HTC Windows Phone by then.
I would be interested in a Nexus version of the 8X though.Corporate trainer for VZW

When people talking about 'glitchy mess' I have to wonder when they lasted used an android device - I've had a nexus 7 for a few months and it and the apps are rock-steady, my wife has a nexus 4 and that is rock-steady as well.

Android. I can't stand the design of the iPhone hardware or OS. I like having options, whether it be in screen size or OS setup.

If I couldn't use WP I would switch to android. I like the larger screens that are available with android and I think android has the best notification system and many things are easier to do in android. I am very interested in the Note 2. If other operating systems are added to the equation, I would like to try BB10 as a second phone. I'm not interested in committing 100% to another new platform right now, but as something besides my primary phone the Z10 would probably be nice.

Definitely android, it's very user friendly I find and much more exciting than iOS. Heck, even my brothers "older" galaxy nexus is pretty sick and better than my sisters iPhone. What is cool though is that I have WP8, brother android, sister iOS. Diversity hahaha
