I have a carrier free HTC Titan UK, does that mean I will get the update upon first releases or what?! People are talking about carriers releasing the update, but what about us sim-free people? Who are we waiting for?

As we know reports suggest the update will start rolling out from 31st January onwards. Shouldn't carrier free users get it earlier?

There is a chance of that happening, if it does, I would guess it be a day or two before the update gets released.

People with Sim-Free devices may get the update on the day of push, however it may take a while after the official push before you get the update notice. You will in theory get it before some people - due to their carriers - but you won't get it before the rumoured 31st January push.
