New titles which are being released which are even though old still have 1GB requirement which is a plain disappointed and discouragement from the Microsoft team and developers. Just to give u an example my friend has a crappy old Xperia J with a outdated single core chipset and 512 and he can play games like Temple Run 2 with ease while windows store has only Temple Run which has 1GB limitation. bought lumia 620 few days back nd loving it so far.

there is this issue i wanted to discuss about phone not detecting memory card.

At 1st i tried using Transcend make 4Gb Class 4 sdhc memory card, this was not detected by phone.

next i tried sandisk ultra sdhc card 8 gb which again was not detected.

then i had a session with "nokia care online chat" and they advise to soft reset my phone using vol down and power key- it didnt work again.

Now before i go to nokia care store, i wondered if i cud use some help from you guys..

i down loaded a battery level app, and the the battery life, went flat on standby in six hours, said after full charge only five hours left, checked had not left wi fi /location etc switched on, no then put phone into airplane mode still massive drain, uninstalled app then phone says five days plus left, and its back to normal,

After opening and reattaching the case, I noticed that the top right hand corner of the main body is slightly raised than the rest of the phone's body. I did th same on my friend's new 620 and got the same result. I think it's to do with the detachable 3.5 mm headphone adapter that is attached to the case but then again when it came out of the box it was perfectly aligned so not really sure what the problem is.

To my astonishment, I only found out that my brother took my 620's shell and hid it somewhere. So, for the past two days, my 620 was forced to live without a shell. So, here are some things I noticed.
1. Yes, you could still use the phone's buttons quite easily (Assuming you have long fingernails)
2. There is a notable drop in audio quality when you take the shell off. (In other words, it sounds waaaay tinnier.)
3. Everything on the back will stay in place while in use (even without a hand underneath). Provided that you don't drop your phone. Even then, there's still a chance that the battery will stay in place.

When Nokia announced the Amber update to Windows Phone they noted it will bring FM Radio support to all their handsets except the Nokia Lumia 620, which apparently lacked the FM Chip.

WindowsMania.pl, who has schematics for the handset, the RM 846, notes that the device has exactly the same dual-core chipset as all the other low-cost Windows Phone 8 handsets, the MSM8227, and that the FM Radio is integrated into the WIFI and Bluetooth Chipset.

The schematics further show an FM Antenna is also connected to the chipset, meaning theoretically it should work.

lumia620_03A more likely reason, suggested by psychomania over that Nokia Discussions, is that the Nokia Lumia 620 has a rather unique arrangement where the headphone jack is part of the removable shell, which may prevent the headphone jack working well as an FM Antenna.

This reason would of course be more difficult to explain, but I suspect a more truthful and accurate answer is always worth the time explaining, as the real story will always eventually out in the end.

I posted recently that every time I called and the recipient was engaged, after about 2 seconds of normal internal engaged tone, it suddenly comes out of the speaker (as if you had somehow pressed the speaker button, which I don't do). More annoying than serious, but anyway...

The store exchanged the phone and, you guessed it, the second handset does the same thing. I tried changing the sim (from Vodafone UK to o2 UK) but it makes no difference.
