    Hello all,

I want to share with you my new application "ShareFolder". With ShareFolder you can browse into your Windows shared folders, and you can copy and paste files to your phone.

Only works on WP7.5 and no additional software is required. I know that the transfer speed is not very high, but I'll try to improve it in future releases.

Any comment are welcome!!, thanks in advance!! :)

Nice little application you've built there. UI could do with a little work though, its a bit untidy.

I was wondering if you knew what port it uses so I can forward it on my router and get access to my shared folders when I'm not on my home network?

Also, could you add support for Videos to be saved to the gallery/played from the application? (I'm not sure its possible, but it would be nice)

    Ey, thanks for your comments!...

The port used by the application is 445 (SMB), but I haven't tested it with a forwarded port...

Unfortunately Windows Phone API doesn't allow to save videos to your media gallery :(

I'll check if I can integrate my app with SkyDrive to allow upload my documents for open it from the Office hub...I need to check this.

    Best regards!

Just means you are trying to play a file format that's not supported on a WP.

Convert them to .mp4, copy them to the phone.
    They'll play.

@zinkpad: nice little app. you are setting the pace to a better future on WP.thnx.
