Does anyone know what the major con of buying a phone from walmart instead of verizon would be?

I believe you can't get the insurance from verizon but beyond that what else?

Are the phones of the same quality?

I normally always go to verizon but walmart has an offer for the 8x for 149.99 with a 100 gift card. That seems too good to pass up since at verizon it's 199.99

Purchasing a phone from Walmart or Verizon is exactly the same. It is the exact same phone. Only difference would be Walmart may have a requirement that you keep that phone active on your account for a specific period of time.
