Anyone know if Verizon will be offering to their customers the chance to upgrade to Windows Phone 8 during Black Friday even though their upgrade date isn't until January? I was hoping to pick up an 8X but I can't upgrade until January.

As far as I know, they'll usually only give you one month lenience. Worth a try though.

If you have more than one phone on your account than use the other phone's upgrade. If you have grandfathered unlimited data, then to keep that unlimited data you must upgrade another basic phone on your account. If you upgrade the line with unlimited data you will lose it. But if you upgrade another phone, you can then actually activate the phone on the line that has unlimited and keep the unlimited.
