"I have two smartphones, the Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan. Bill is usually around $123 a month.

We're using AT&T's shared data plan:
    1GB data limit
    Unlimited calls
    Unlimited text
    Free tethering
    Visual voicemail"

Pardon me but I have this plan from at&t and the base cost is $130 plus about $15 in taxes=$145. Are you getting a business discount? Do tell!

I do get a discount through work as long as I'm under contract.

    Vodafone UK
Red 33 - unlimited calls to landlines & mobiles, unlimited sms, 1GB of network data and 1GB of BT Openzone wifi.
    And a free Sure Signal/Femtocell.

Exceptional coverage across the UK, including along motorways and 3G/HSPA in places you'd never imagine. Unlike EE, the only network currently offering LTE whose lower services definitely suffer as they siphoned off 2/3G capacity for 4G. Even their 4G sucks for most customers as its still heavily limited to certain cities and masts.

Three UK - The One Plan (SIM-only, 1 month rolling contract) - 25/mth
2'000 any network minutes (landline calls come out of this allowance)
    5'000 3-2-3 minutes
    5'000 texts
All-You-Can-Eat Data with tethering included (and trust me, the 5GB FUP crap that reps spout in other stores is baloney, my friend used 83GB in a month one, no throttling, no extra charges)
    Free voicemail.

Phone: HTC TITAN (bought off-contract). However bear in mind I can lock myself in for 24-months for 34/mth with a 29 upfront charge and get an 8X with them.

Signal: I get signal at home, just about get signal at my dad's house. Never had trouble with signal while adventuring unless I ended up in the middle of nowhere (I was south of the Yorkshire Dales once, no signal whatsoever, but even then my parents couldn't get signal on O2 either. Would be interesting to see what signal was like over on Vodafone and T-Mobile)

    Orange Lux.

unlimited calls to all national mobile networks + fixed line
    unlimited SMS/MMS to all mobiles
    unlimited data HSDPA+ 21.6MBit/s
    150 Minutes to EU
    5 MB data roaming (lol)

50€ (66.5$) per month. LTE (50GB) would be 10€ more but i don't need that speed on my phone. 10-12Mbit/s average is more than enough, for every thing else i have a fiber connection.

    Carrier: Yorn (Vodafone Portugal)
Plan: Yorn Power Extravaganza (without monthly fee) same as Vodafone Extreme - pre-paid

SMS: unlimited to Extravaganza/Extreme, 1500/week to Vodafone numbers, 0,107 to other numbers
Calls: unlimited to E/E, 0,144/min to Vdf, 0,377/min to others
Data: 500MB/month for 10 (not included in the plan)

There's no contract or monthly fee, but I have to top up with 15 a month, but everything remains as credit.

I also have free unlimited wi-fi on Portugal Telecom hotspots, but that comes from my 3-play service for TV/internet/landline.

Service has been excellent everywhere I've lived and where I live now is no exception :D I have no doubt I'll be in one of the launch cities for LTE next year (My city was one of the first AWS 3G launch cities)
Awww....I miss my My Faves! LOL! Did they reinstate it, or is it still a grandfathered account?

That's my favorite plan of all time! No contracts, unlimited everything- $50 a month....can't beat it! I remember when they 1st introduced it, I asked a T mobile rep about it in comparison to the other contract plans they had at that time, and she paused and said. "You know...to be honest with you, that's the best deal we have!" I was sold, from that moment on! LOL.

Sidenote: I just noticed your signature "A Mango is tastier than an apple or a blackberry." What's with all of the mobile companies having a sweet tooth: Mango, Blackberry, Apple, Icecream, Jelly Bean, the LG Chocolate phones (years ago LOL), smart phones with "candy bar" styles, etc. I guess all we need now is a dentist app to cure it all!

Grandfathered. I had the 1K N&W plan for $39.99 already but knew at the time (in 2009) they had a hidden offer in retentions/save loyalty for a free add-on for myFaves. It took a few calls (one person wanted to charge me $10/month, another claimed there was no way to add it) but I found someone who knew what they were doing and wanted their commission bad enough I guess.

I got lucky again, too.. called in a few months ago for some random question and randomly got offered $10 off my bill every month for 2 years for being a long time customer. I naturally took the offer :)
