To be fair, there is no fact at all in that article and complete speculation ..
6 rows of icons! And now for the most revolutionary change since the first iPhone...... 1 more column!!!! That's right.... we're not talking about rows here. It's an entirely new column of apps added to your screen.

Doesn't look like they're going to add colors - it's not Apple's style. iPod touches got colours because a lot of kids own it, and these colors make them want it so badly, that parents just can't get enough of sentences like "please, I'll do anything" and Apple just enjoys profit.
With the iphone 5 being very underwhelming in terms of sales I would expect for Apple to try anything to sell more products
