How come Microsoft doesn't retaliate in some way against Google, for the issues Google has caused with their maps for example? For instance, why doesn't it block Gmail from opening MS office documents? It might be risky but I just feel like Google is the only one being aggressive. Is there a reason Microsoft isn't doing the same?

I really don't understand how MSFT would be able to "block" Gmail from opening office documents..
And about the maps issue, Google gave a reason (maybe excuse is more suitable..) on why they did that, so if MSFT WERE to somehow block or hinder some of Google's services, it'd look like a **** move from their side. Also, it would raise a lot of issues against them, that is, unless they can come up with a valid excuse.
